Witness the peaceful atmosphere and observe the rituals of the monks, along with the awe-inspiring gilded statue of Migjid Janraisig. Next, delve into Mongolia’s rich history with a visit to the Museum Heritage of Chinggis Khaan, which chronicles the nation’s past from ancient times to the present. After a day of cultural immersion, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Ulaanbaatar to Bayan Gobi

After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey to the Elsen Tasakhai sand dunes, located in central Mongolia. This striking landscape, often called the "mini Gobi," offers a serene desert experience. The dunes stretch for 80 km and provide an excellent backdrop for camel riding. Explore the dunes on the back of a Bactrian camel, a gentle creature native to Mongolia, known for its comfort during long rides. You will also visit a camel herder family to witness the nomadic lifestyle up close. After an unforgettable camel ride, enjoy lunch and check into a nearby tourist camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Kharkhorin & Erdene Zuu Buddhist Monastery

After breakfast, embark on a one-hour drive to the ancient city of Kharkhorin, once the capital of the Mongol Empire. While today it is a small settlement, it offers a glimpse into Mongolia’s glorious past. Explore the Kharkhorin Museum and learn about the city’s historical significance as a center of trade along the Silk Road. Then, visit the majestic Erdene Zuu Buddhist Monastery, built in the 16th century, with its impressive 108 stupas. After a day of history and spirituality, return to your Ger camp for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 5 - Mongol Nomadic Camp

Today, experience the heart of Mongolian culture with a visit to a Mongol Nomadic Ger camp. This authentic experience will immerse you in the traditional lifestyle of Mongolia’s nomadic people. Watch as the locals demonstrate their ancient customs, including livestock breeding and using oxen, camels, and horses for transportation. You’ll also learn about the nomadic way of life, which has remained unchanged for centuries. Enjoy lunch before returning to your camp for a traditional dinner and a restful night under the stars.

Day 6 - Terelj National Park

After breakfast, head to Terelj National Park, one of Mongolia’s most stunning natural landscapes. Here, you’ll discover unique rock formations, including the famous Turtle Rock, which resembles a giant turtle. Enjoy a scenic drive through the park, taking in the breathtaking views. You will then hike to the Ariyabal Meditation Temple, located atop a mountain, offering panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness. The journey to the temple is a spiritual one, as you cross a suspension bridge and climb 108 stairs—each one symbolizing a step towards spiritual cleansing. Afterward, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7 - Genghis Khan Statue Complex & Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast, visit the iconic Genghis Khan Statue Complex, home to the world’s largest equestrian statue. Standing at 40 meters tall, the statue offers a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. You’ll have the opportunity to ascend to the horse’s head and take in the spectacular views.
